As of July 1, Paul van der Heijden will take office as the new director of VFM Facility Experts. He succeeds founder Victor van Hooijdonk, who is handing over the baton after more than 27 years. Under Victor's leadership, VFM grew into one of the leading consultancy firms in the field of facility management in the Netherlands, with a team of 100 permanent and freelance professionals and an impressive, diverse and loyal clientele.
Since its founding in 1997, VFM has built an agency known for its expertise, independence and lasting partnerships. Vision, entrepreneurship and personal commitment were key to the foundation and growth of VFM Facility Experts. In 27 years, the agency evolved from pioneer to established player within the facilities landscape.
With the arrival of Paul van der Heijden, VFM is starting a new chapter. Paul brings with him a wealth of experience from the facility management field, including as Director of Integrated Services and Director of Bid & Sales Management at Facilicom Solutions and most recently as Director of Business Development Europe at Flexim Group. Within VFM he will, together with the management team, continue the initiated growth, further develop the potential of employees and continue the cooperation with clients. In addition to the existing Interim and Consultancy business lines, Paul will also focus on the further development of the Services business line.
Paul is known as a builder, connector and inspirational leader. His arrival marks an important step in the continued development of VFM.
About his choice of VFM, Paul says: "I believe enormously in the demonstrable added value of facility management for organizations and its positive influence on the effectiveness and happiness at work of their employees. VFM's working method, which involves thinking along with clients from A to Z in order to arrive at practical and, above all, sustainable customized advice, appeals to me enormously. I look forward to continuing to work with the professionals of VFM and its clients on continuous improvements within our field."
With Victor's departure, VFM closes an important chapter and confidently begins a new era, building on a solid foundation laid over the past decades with dedication and vision.
