Each of the above organizations is a controller within the meaning of the AVG for the processing operations that take place within its entity.

Within Coppa Group, and between the various companies of Coppa Group, your personal data may be shared if this is necessary. This may, for example, be for administrative reasons, if joint systems are used or if this is necessary for the improvement of our services to clients, candidates or employees.

As an organizational consulting group, Coppa Group deals with confidential information (personal data) and its processing. If you choose to provide us with information, we will only use this information in accordance with our privacy policy, which has been drawn up in accordance with the prevailing privacy legislation. Coppa Group therefore only collects personal data that you voluntarily provide in any way. In such cases, we will always give you the opportunity to read this Privacy Statement and ask for your explicit consent to the processing of your data. If you provide your data through the use of the website(s), you declare that you have read this Privacy Statement and agree to it.

The main purpose of data collection is to enable us to provide the best possible service, in the broadest sense of the word. In addition, the personal data voluntarily provided serves to carry out targeted information provision including marketing. This Privacy Statement serves to clarify so that you are always aware of how we collect personal data, how we use it, possibly share it and finally how we protect your data.

1. Collection and use of personal data.

Coppa Group collects personal data only if you choose to make it available to us. The personal data made available will not be used for purposes other than those for which you have made it available, unless we have obtained your express consent to do so. If additional information is collected by us you will always be informed.

Coppa Group does not collect any special personal data (such as data relating to race, political or religious affiliation, philosophy of life, sexual orientation/preference or health) unless we are required to do so by law.

The automatic collection of personal data

Coppa Group uses cookies on its website(s) for functional, technical management, and analysis purposes. A cookie is a small text file containing information about your behavior on the website you are visiting (for example, which pages you have viewed and what information you have entered). The website owner can use this information when you visit the site again. In addition, we use web statistics to track visitor numbers to our website, for example. This data, which is anonymized, is used to improve the functionality and effectiveness of our services and to monitor marketing activities.

When you visit our website, you will be informed about the use of functional and technical cookies. These will not be used for marketing purposes and therefore cannot be blocked. These cookies are necessary for the proper functioning of the website and to adapt the website to the browser you are using.

Other forms of collecting personal data

We also collect your data from the moment you enter or leave your details on our website(s), or if you otherwise indicate an interest in our services. In that case we will approach you and, depending on your area of interest, ask you to provide personal information in a targeted manner if that is necessary for the performance of our services. In doing so, as previously indicated, this Privacy Statement will always be observed.

Leadinfo

We use the lead generation service provided by Leadinfo B.V., Rotterdam, Netherlands. The tool recognizes company visits to our website based on IP addresses and shows us publicly available information, such as company names or addresses. In addition, Leadinfo places two first-party cookies to evaluate user behavior on our website and processes domains from form entries (e.g., ‘leadinfo.com’) to correlate IP addresses with companies and improve services. More information is available at www.leadinfo.com. On this page: https://www.leadinfo.com/en/opt-out you have an opt-out option. If you opt out, your data will no longer be recorded by Leadinfo.

When you interact with our communications or features, for example by filling out a form, opening our emails, or viewing our content, we may process personal data such as your name, email address, and interaction data. This information is used to optimize our communications and better tailor our services to your needs.

2. Purpose of collecting your personal data

We collect and process your data for the performance of our consulting, project supervision, training & development and recruitment and capacity building services.

This allows us to provide you with information about our services and better tailor them to your needs. The provision of information may include the sending of newsletters and, for example, invitations to information meetings that may be of interest to you, but only if you have signed up for them (opt-in).

Coppa Group processes personal data of persons working for companies with whom we maintain a business relationship for the performance of our services and/or the provision of information about services and other activities. In addition, the processing of personal data serves to maintain the business relationship and the conclusion and maintenance of an assignment agreement. The personal data processed in this context are names, contact details and functions of contact persons.

The retention periods used by Coppa Group depend on the applicable legal retention periods. Data relating to a business relationship will in any case be retained for up to 2 years after the termination of said customer relationship.

In the context of our interim and recruitment services, your personal data is used to assess your suitability and availability in connection with a permanent or temporary employment relationship or insight into test results, reference checks, and social media. In some cases, the data processing is necessary to arrive at, maintain and fulfill an order confirmation with a client (e.g. pre-employment screening). Finally, registration and processing is necessary for compliance with laws and regulations (including labor, tax and social laws).

By submitting the application form on our website(s), or if you provide us with your personal data by other means than through the website(s), you give us permission, in the event that you are not hired, to keep your personal data for up to 1 year after the application process ends, due to possible future job openings. 

If you have worked for Coppa Group or its clients, your placement details (resume, work experience, education, test results, etc.) will remain available for up to two years after the last contact. One year after the last contact, you will receive a message from us informing you that you are still registered with us. Two years after the last contact, we will deregister you and destroy your data.

If you previously no longer wish to be mediated or for any other reason want your data to be destroyed, you can unsubscribe yourself via the email address mentioned under 10. You will then naturally no longer be contacted by Coppa Group.

3. Sharing and transfer of personal data

Coppa Group does not share personal data with third parties, except where necessary to fulfill your request (for example, if this is necessary to achieve the objectives of the business relationship or for the purpose of providing Coppa Group's services for that business relationship), for our professional and legitimate purposes, or if required or permitted by law, professional standards, or quality rules. In that case, the provision of personal data is based on a legitimate interest, legal obligation, and/or the performance of the agreement in accordance with the purposes mentioned under 2.

In addition, Coppa Group may transfer personal data to external organizations abroad that cooperate with us in the performance of our services. Transfer by Coppa Group of personal data to organizations abroad takes place in accordance with Dutch privacy legislation. Coppa Group has taken the necessary measures to ensure that all personal data passed on is adequately protected.

Under no circumstances will Coppa Group disclose your data to third parties for its direct marketing purposes.

4. Retention of personal data

Coppa Group does not retain data for the purposes mentioned above any longer than is expressly authorized, necessary and/or permitted by law. However, data may - anonymously - possibly be kept longer for statistical purposes, for example.

5. Choice

In general, you are not obliged to provide personal data. Coppa Group may nevertheless request you to provide certain personal data so that we can provide you with the requested service, provide you with (additional) information regarding our services and events and information meetings to be organized by us.

If you choose to subscribe to a specific service or communication, such as a newsletter, you will also be given the opportunity to unsubscribe from this service or communication by following the instructions provided in the communication offered. If you decide to unsubscribe from a service or communication, we will attempt to delete your data as soon as possible, but we may require additional information to process your unsubscribe request.

6. Security and data integrity.

Coppa Group has taken physical, administrative, organizational and technical measures and operates through established procedures to optimally secure your personal data against unlawful use, misuse, loss, destruction and alteration. If and to the extent that data is provided to data processors who provide services or perform assignments on our behalf, we have agreed with these parties that they will also optimally secure personal data. Despite these far-reaching efforts, however, the integrity of data cannot be absolutely guaranteed against all threats.

To the best of our ability, access to your personal data will be strictly limited to those who are involved in providing services to you on behalf of Coppa Group and those who are otherwise authorized to do so within the framework of privacy laws. Those within our organization who have access to your personal data are required to maintain the confidentiality of that information. Also, Coppa Group makes every effort to ensure that your personal data is retained only for as long as it is necessary to provide services to you, is permitted by law, or until you request deletion of your personal data before certain time limits have expired.

Please note that our websites may contain links to other websites. These third-party websites are not maintained and managed by Coppa Group and are therefore not subject to the regime of this Privacy Statement. The privacy statements of third-party websites may differ from this Privacy Statement. We therefore recommend that you consult the privacy policies of websites other than those of Coppa Group before providing personal data on third-party websites.

8. Children

Our sites and services are not intended for or directed to children under the age of 16. It is our policy never to knowingly collect or maintain information regarding persons under the age of 16.

9. Changes to this policy

Coppa Group may modify this Privacy Statement for a variety of reasons. When we make changes to the Privacy Statement we will revise the "date last modified" listed at the bottom of this page. We encourage you to periodically review the Privacy Statement to be informed of how we are protecting your personal information.

10. Inspection, rectification, deletion of your data and questions regarding the Coppa Group Privacy Policy.

If you have any questions or comments about the processing of your personal data, you can make them known to us at info@coppagroup.nl. You can also use this e-mail address if you object to the processing of, or wish to inspect, your personal data. Also, if you suspect a data breach, please notify us immediately using this email address. If you wish to have your personal data corrected or deleted, you can make this known by sending an email message to info@coppagroup.nl. Finally, if you believe that your privacy rights have been violated by Coppa Group, you can file a complaint about it with the Personal Data Authority (AP), which supervises the processing of personal data in the Netherlands.

Coppa Group is an umbrella label of Coppa Groep BV and its subsidiaries. References in the above Privacy Statement to "we" or "Coppa Group" always refer to Coppa Groep BV and its affiliated subsidiaries. Coppa Groep BV is located at Jansbuitensingel 30, 6811 AE, Arnhem.
