Future-proof procurement policy for Spark Foundation

Due to the departure of the permanent buyer, VFM temporarily filled the procurement role at Stichting Vonk. Interim manager Susanne Moonen picked up this dynamic assignment with pleasure and dedication.

A new phase for procurement after merger

In 2022, ROC Kop van Noord-Holland and Clusius College merged to form Stichting Vonk. The merger brought the necessary challenges with impact on employees, processes and structure. This gave the procurement function a new charge. The importance of European Procurement and contract management became essential, as did an unambiguous procurement strategy. Clear communication and a solid basis determine the course of procurement. Susanne showed her added value in this. A good foundation was laid for contract management, a number of large tenders were set up and clear policy agreements were shared with the organization.

Future

The procurement department of Stichting Vonk is still developing. There is a follow-up to the advice for a renewed procurement strategy, drawn up by our parent company Coppa Group, which started at the same time. There is a green light for reinforcement in the permanent purchasing function. The recruitment of both an operational and a tactical buyer is currently in full swing.

Susanne's commitment and expertise helped to strengthen the procurement function and a future-proof procurement policy.
