As a junior procurement consultant within the government we give you the opportunity to grow from junior to medior procurement consultant in one year. Through a combination of theoretical training and on-the-job experience we will help you to deepen your knowledge and skills in procurement and as a consultant. The goal is to become a medior procurement consultant who independently takes on tactical procurement consultancy assignments. In addition to a thorough theoretical training program you will also be deployed as a consultant with our clients, for example as contract manager or procurement supporter. Our clients include municipalities, provinces, water boards, security regions and educational institutions.
Examples of roles in your development journey
As a procurement support officer, you provide administrative and operational support to senior and medior procurement consultants or clients. For example, in preparing tender documents and organizing consultations. You also play a role in the preparation of tender dossiers and support in the selection of suppliers. Furthermore, you independently supervise single and non-complex multiple negotiated procedures or European tenders.
You support in contract management. In the role of contract manager, you support in drafting, managing and monitoring procurement contracts so that they are always up to date and meet the agreed conditions. You will help analyze contracts, supplier performance and identify any areas for improvement. With this experience you know how important contract management is, you know what is needed to monitor contracts and make adjustments if necessary.
